Penya Blaugrana London

Penya Blaugrana London celebrated their 30th anniversary in style at the Hotel Avenida Palace in Barcelona. 

In total 46 PBL members travelled from London to celebrate their penya's anniversary. Also, we were honoured with the representation of 18 international penyes that send representatives to our anniversary from all over the world. And we were also delighted to have representation for 10 Catalan and Spanish penyes. In total, over 130 people attended our anniversary dinner.

Our anniversary guest of honour were Josep Maria Barnils (head of the FC Barcelona social area) and Josep Moratalla (FC Barcelona defender in the 80s, and member of the ABJ - FCB players association).

Also, we would like to thank to Miguel Tejero and Esteban Jimenez for kindly setting up a fantastic exhibition of FCB memorabilia, including a player-used shirt from each of the 5 Champions League finals won by FC Barcelona.

Penya Blaugrana London unveilled the new plaque at Camp Nou to celebrate the 30th anniversary.  The new plaque has two stars that symbolise the two Champions Leagues that FC Barcelona has won at Wembley in London.
