PBL with Gary Lineker and Qatar Airways

Penya Blaugrana London, the official FC Barcelona penya in London, was invited to a Qatar Airways promotional event at Westfield Shopping Centre.  In the event Qatar Airways promoted their relationship with FC Barcelona and the main attraction was an interactive penalty shootout screen.

The event was also attended by Gary Lineker, who gladly accepted to have a picture taken with the famous Penya Blaugrana London flag, along with two beautiful stewardess and the penya delegation headed by Jason Pettigrove (our Relations delegate), Geoff Williamson (social area delegate), and our junior member Elliott Pettigrove.

To the surprise of our members, there was no need to explain to Gary anything about the penya, as he confessed to already be very acquainted with it!  Gary also joined the penalty shootout competition.  After two penalty misses he scored at the third attempt.  Ok, the King of strikers has long retired, but he proved he can still score under pressure!
