Copa del Rei event with Athletic Penya

Penya Blaugrana London and Peña Mr Pentland Athletic Club Bilbao London organised a friendship match in celebration of the 25 May 2012 Copa del Rei final. PB Mostoles also was represented in the event with its international relations delegate Rafael Candelas Quintanar.

The match took place in Pimlico, a centric London borough. Since the beginning it was clear Athletic penya members were more used to playing together, while PBL members were more used to “watch games” together. The end score was 6-3 to Athletic, and it wasn’t a bigger results hadn’t it been for the good defence job and determination of PBL team.

After the game, around 40 people of both Penyas had lunch together in a pub nearby to continue with the celebrations.
